I've got a few things to say that I don't really wanna sit on until Thursday.

First off I want to thank all of you. Last night I saw how hard you've got it. You didn't have to join the DA. And you didn't have to do what you did this year. And you really don't have to do what you do now. But you do it anyway. So thanks. And for what it's worth I'm sorry you've gotta put up with it.

Now, I know you all saw Cresswell's ward where he offered to help. I got another ward from a Mona Quirke about wanting to help too. I don't know if they meant they wanted to join the DA or what. But I'm not real comfortable with the idea of letting Cresswell in after last night. And I don't know Quirke well enough to know if I'm comfortable with letting her in. So I was wondering if maybe you all had any ideas of how they could help.

The DA's giving another defence seminar again tomorrow. I know I haven't written about them in a while. But after last Saturday I thought I'd remind people that we're still here giving them. They're at The Burrow in Ottery St Catchpole at 3PM every Sunday.

We've been going over basic defence spells mostly. But if there's anything in particular you want to go over let me know. Especially if something happened Saturday that you need help figuring out. Or there's something you think you need to work on.

There's still gonna be a DA meeting tonight. After Saturday I think it's real important that we talk about what happened. And maybe talk about what we really need to work on at our meetings and at the defense seminars. We'll never be completely prepared for them. But we can try to be as prepared as possible. And we can make sure everyone else is too.

Goldstein, I talked to who I needed to talk to. Auror Savage says the DMLE will help. Since it's just the two of us who are doing it.

The DA wants to send the Death Eaters something. But we're not sure they'll be accepting owls from just anyone anymore. I know your daughter's been sending them stuff, Auror Savage. I haven't told the DA. But I was wondering if she could help us out.

Look. Sorry for the way I reacted to what Megan did. But I don't think I'm over-reacting.

These are still Death Eaters we're dealing with. Doesn't matter if they're only there because of someone else or because they want to be. They were on Voldemort's followers. And they would kill every last one of us if they got the chance. Because they're capable of the same evils he was. We all know what happened last night. Some of us saw it with our own eyes. They killed people. Innocent people. They don't deserve pity or charity. And yeah, that means presents of bloody soap. They're on the run because they're CRIMINALS. They're murderers. And I'd say it's pretty clear that they're willing to manipulate us to get what they want. So who's to say they won't get more than just soap out of us next time.

Back when Death Eaters started using journals Kingsley told us to be safe. This isn't being safe. And I hate to pull rank here but I'm in charge. No sending the Death Eaters anything to make their lives any easier. They've made us suffer. And I'm fine if they suffer right back.
